Chimper #1356
Minowa the Ranting has the patience of a mountain, but they spend it entirely on things that cannot listen. Before they earned their title in The Great Panda City, they were just another wanderer with a shocked expression and an apple stick for pointing at particularly interesting clouds. Then came the Year of the Silent Bell. The great temple bell refused to ring, its silence casting a gloom over the city. Minowa stood before it for three days, lecturing it on acoustics, civic duty, and the philosophical nature of sound. The locals were amused, the Panda Council perplexed. On the third dawn, a sudden gust of windโor perhaps sheer exhaustionโcaused the bell to chime. Minowa simply nodded, as if it had finally seen reason.
