The Soul Chasers who patrol The Underworld speak of a silent general whose fearsome scar was earned in a legendary duel. The truth, as their childhood friend Fuchie will tell anyone who asks, is that Senano got the scar trying to retrieve a dropped sandwich from a particularly grumpy rock lizard. Their journey here began as a simple foraging trip that took a disastrously wrong turn. The imposing General Suit was for a festival. The carved cane they lean on is for a sprained ankle they got while waving too enthusiastically at a distant, menacing figure that turned out to be a strangely shaped stalagmite. Yet, every clumsy misstep is interpreted as a cunning strategy, making them the accidental guardian of a small, terrified community of lost souls.
