Miryoku

Miryoku is the most underestimated being in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. The grand magicians in the midnight fortress see a harmless tourist, a wide-eyed collector with a backpack full of pretty, useless rocks. They note the sweet, unassuming face and dismiss them entirely. The rock wizards who guard the sacred monoliths, however, tell a different story. They see a pilgrim on a vital errand, moving with a quiet determination that belies their gentle demeanor. They whisper that Miryoku serves Hogo-sha, and that the bamboo on their back is for marking paths only spirits can see. The truth is that each crystal they touch holds a vibration, a tiny piece of the Highlands' health, and Miryoku is the only one who can read it. They are a doctor making house calls on a mountain.
