Chimper #1607
The other couriers whisper that Miyara the Dreaming once delivered a message with no sender and no scroll. It happened on a cold afternoon, with purple hues lighting the sky. They were supposed to be delivering official correspondence for the Panda Council, but the river flowing through the bamboo-lined streets was too tempting. Casually sipping strawberry milk, they cast their fishing line. The line went taut, but what they reeled in wasn't a fish. It was a shimmering thread of light, a vision of a border dispute that had not yet happened. Without a word, they went to the council chambers and relayed the vision. Since that day, no one questions why a messenger carries a fishing rod. Some messages aren't written on paper.
