Chimper #171
Sazuka tapped their wizard staff against the final humming monolith, completing the alignment sequence. The air in the highlands crackled as seven massive, colourful stones spun in perfect harmony, projecting a beam of concentrated energy that could reshape reality. Younger mages watched from a safe distance, whispering in awe. Even the warlord Oda, passing through on a grave mission, paused to witness the spectacle, assuming Sazuka was averting some cosmic catastrophe. The beam of light solidified, piercing the veil between worlds, and focused with pinpoint accuracy. It landed a few feet away, illuminating a small, forgotten backpack. From inside, a muffled jingle could be heard. Sazuka sighed in relief. They had spent all morning looking for their keys.
