When the effects of the unusually potent mushrooms wore off, Sahana was already miles from The Teikodian Empire's capital and floating. They had only wanted a festival snack. Instead, they’d wandered into a demonstration for a new 'Personal Defense Sphere,' mistaken the lead scientist for a very enthusiastic tailor, and somehow ended up inside the prototype. The researchers, too intimidated to question what they assumed was a surprise test by a cryptic master, had simply bowed as Sahana bounced away. They've since learned the fungus was a relative of the one that transformed Sakkaku, but that offers little comfort. Their carved cane can't reach the ground to guide them, and every sneeze risks sending them careening into a fruit stand.
