The Crimson Courier of the Empire once delivered gilded scrolls with eyes full of stars. Moyue believed each message helped build a grander world, inspired by the tales of Roketto creating new civilizations from dust. They were the fastest messenger in The Teikodian Empire, a red blur against white marble. That speed became a curse the day they delivered the dispatch that led to the 'disappearances' in the artist's quarter. The truth wrinkled their face overnight. Since then, Moyue's speed serves a different purpose. They now carry whispered warnings and coded escape plans through the capital's shadowed corridors, their deliveries undoing the harm their loyalty once caused. They run for the people the Empire erases.
