Chimper #1990
Sumiha has survived treacherous sea voyages and rockslides, but they have never survived a bout of silence. When they arrived in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, the local wizards—accustomed to quiet contemplation—were utterly unprepared. While a geomancer might spend a decade decoding a monolith's whispers, Sumiha taps it, peers through their pink visor, and loudly declares, “Well, it’s mostly feldspar!” to anyone within earshot. Their guiding lanterns are meant to find paths in the dark, but it is their non-stop narration of every rock, sunset, and passing thought that truly announces their presence. They are a walking geological survey with absolutely no volume control, a cheerful disruption in a land of profound quiet.
