Natsumiko

Natsumiko is the most celebrated dragon hunter in Waterfall City. This reputation was earned entirely by accident. While dreamily polishing a massive family blade by the lower pools, they slipped on a mossy stone. The sword flew from their hands, spinning into the sky just as the great Ryu-senshi soared overhead. A single, shimmering scale, already loose, was dislodged by the spinning metal and clattered onto the plaza beside the dazed Natsumiko. To the fishers who witnessed it, the sequence was clear: a heroic strike. Before they could explain, they were being hoisted onto shoulders. These days, they carry the scale and the blade as proof of their 'valor', hoping no one ever asks for a repeat performance. The mutton chops were grown to look more serious; they mostly just get soggy.
