Chimper #2113
Nunoe’s azure visor can track a hawk’s dive through a hurricane, but their ramen hat still gets knocked askew by a strong gust of wind. They stood calmly at the top of the waterfall, sword sheathed, as a furious merchant accused them of favoring the lower city’s fishing guilds. Before they were known as the Adversary, they were a noodle cook on those very docks. When raiders struck Waterfall City years ago, the main guard defended the upper plaza, leaving the outskirts vulnerable. Nunoe, armed with a soup ladle and a forgotten tactical visor, used their knowledge of the winding paths to outmaneuver the invaders at every turn. The raiders retreated, cursing the ghost who had dismantled their attack. The city offered them a sword and armor; Nunoe accepted, but kept the hat. It serves as a reminder that a guardian must protect the whole city, not just the part with the prettiest statues.
