Yuunosuke was a merchant, pure and simple. Their life in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria was a predictable cycle of sourcing magical ores and selling them to preoccupied wizards. That changed when Sourukipa, an exile with eyes full of ancient sorrow, arrived seeking not crystals but a guide. Yuunosuke, respecting old codes of conduct over imperial edicts, agreed to lead them through the treacherous mountain passes. The contract was for three days. That was two years ago. Now, Yuunosuke’s mutton chops are often flecked with monster blood, and the Mega Sabre on their back is for more than just show. While Sourukipa pores over cryptic maps, Yuunosuke barters for supplies, patches their companion’s cloak, and ensures they do not starve on their quest for a ghost's sword.
