Chikae

Chikae slid the training room screen open, convinced this was exactly how the legendary Hensō would gather intel. Inside, two warriors were mid-deal, exchanging a coded scroll. Holding their breath and a bowl of ramen, Chikae leaned in. A stray noodle dangling from their lips made a soft *plop* as it hit the broth. Both warriors spun around, their secret meeting ruined. One, mistaking Chikae for a ridiculously formal food vendor, stormed over, thrust coins into their hand, and snatched the ramen. In their annoyance, they fumbled the scroll, which landed right at Chikae’s feet. Mortified by the failed attempt at stealth, Chikae grabbed the scroll, thinking it was a napkin for their messy shirt, and fled. They still haven't figured out why that warrior paid triple for cold noodles at The Dojo.
