Chimper #2321
Kisuna remembers the feel of the felt frog patch being pressed into their palm for the first time. It was a clumsy gift from a small child, stitched with uneven thread but a perfect, lopsided smile. They had been sent from The Great Panda City on a diplomatic mission by Panda, their satchel full of scrolls and a belief that words could mend any rift. In the tense borderlands, however, a banditโs blade offered a swifter argument. Kisuna took the blow meant for the childโs parent, and their world went dark on one side. They returned not with a treaty, but with a scar. Panda saw no failure, only sacrifice. These days, the scholar uses the frog patch in their lessonsโa reminder that true vision isn't about how much you see, but what you choose to focus on.
