Mitane

Should a traveler become lost in the ghost fogs of The Dragon Wastelands, the old-timers say not to look for a path, but for a light. They say Mitane will appear, their twin lanterns cutting through the spectral illusions of the dead beasts that haunt the valleys. Their armor is from an age before the Emperor Ten'no's fall, yet their eyes hold a strange, gleeful glint behind a face that shows nothing. They move with the tireless endurance of Bjorn, never stopping for rest. They don't ask for payment, only that you keep up. No one knows why they guide the lost through such a cursed place. Mitane offers no answers, only a safe route. They simply lead you to the edge of the canyons and turn back into the mists.
