Chimper #2634
Noha’s raspberry pink visor is the first thing anyone notices and the last thing they understand. To the palace sentinels, it's an insult, a garish splash of color against the blinding white marble and sun-bleached gold of the capital. They whisper it was a trophy from a duel Noha should have lost. The imperial mages believe otherwise; they claim the crystal is enchanted, allowing Noha to see the flow of lies and betrayals that weave through the court’s shadowed corridors. But a tailor who once mended their golden dragon robes tells a different story. They saw Noha alone, visor off, tracing the old scar beneath their eye. The tailor says the visor belonged to someone else—a promise made, and a debt still being paid.
