Chimper #2750
Kachie’s first scar came with the sound of splintering bamboo and a merchant’s gasp. They weren’t a warrior, just a resident of The Great Panda City who couldn't stand by while thugs harassed someone along the river. That act, under a sky of purple hues, cost them a clean cheek but earned a reputation they never wanted. So they left, adopting shades to hide from pitying stares and hoping to find peace on the road. But their nurturing spirit was a magnet for trouble. A jagged line above the eye from a border skirmish; a burn on their jaw from pulling a traveler from a fire. The wandering years only added to the map on their face. When they finally returned, it was Panda who sought them out, seeing past the scars to the compassion that created them. Panda saw a protector who understood the true cost of keeping others safe. Their seat on the council is rarely empty.
