Chimper #2803
The bamboo merchants in The Great Panda City will tell you Shiihiko wrestled a spirit beast off the highest mountain cliff and wears its skull as a trophy. The Panda Council believes the story is a metaphor; that Shiihiko faced a spiritual death inside the mountain and emerged so focused they now bend the world around them, much like the quiet influence of Kami. Their apprentices, however, whisper that the heavy skull simply helps them ignore distractions. Shiihiko themself offers no explanation. They just work, and when they hammer steel under the cherry blossoms, the sparks seem to spell out truths no one else can read.
