Chimper #2901
Jiuhime adjusted their azure visor, tapping their carved cane against a humming monolith as a wizard sputtered nearby. They had been in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria for a moon cycle, a living paradox that frustrated the local geomancers. The pools of Horoguramu had prophesied a "guiding presence," and everyone expected a sorcerer crackling with power. They got Jiuhime, who spent their days tracing erosion patterns and listening to the wind. The wizards bring them arcane charts and cosmic queries. Jiuhime just points with their cane at a small, stubborn flower growing in the shadow of a levitating rock and asks what its name is. They don't seem to realize they are fulfilling the prophecy not by providing answers, but by forcing the greatest minds in the realm to finally look down.
