Hyoukon

The rushing water beneath the great falls holds more secrets than the pale stone temple above it ever will. Hyoukon understands this better than most. By day, they are a fixture in the upper plaza, a noble whose habit of sharing sweets for the smallest of good news makes them a beloved eccentric. But this persona began only after they met Aoi, the strange futurist who spoke of things buried deep beneath the city. Aoi didn't offer power, but a single, haunting question about the source of the falls' endless energy. Since then, Hyoukon spends their nights by the roaring abyss, intense eyes scanning the currents. They are searching for what Aoi hinted at, a truth sleeping in the deep. The question is whether they will find it before it finds them.
