Chimper #3114
The greatest nuisance in the Teikodian Empire's gilded halls stands perfectly still, a statue in elder armour. New recruits are warned about Kijihiko. They are told of a warrior with Bjorn's own endurance, who once held a pass for three days straight. What they aren't told is that Kijihiko now uses that legendary stillness to win bets on how long they can balance a teacup on their ornate headpiece. They use their carved cane less for support and more for 'accidentally' tangling the feet of arrogant bureaucrats. They survived the Emperor’s wars and saw the moral decay firsthand. They decided the grand battles were pointless. The small ones, however—the ones fought for a child’s laugh or a snob’s stumble—are worth winning every day.
