Chimper #3174
When Yatsuho was first deployed to The Heart of the Forest, the mission was simple: observe and report. But on their first night of surveillance, their fishing rod snagged on a low-hanging branch. The resulting struggle to free it was so comical that the very chimps they were meant to be spying on came over to help. Panicked, Yatsuho offered them the marshmallow from their stick. It was seen not as a diversion, but as a charming introduction. Their intense, focused gaze was mistaken for rapt attention as the locals gossiped about berry harvests. Yatsuhoโs final report contained zero intelligence and one very good recipe for baked apples. They remain stationed there, mostly because their reports on local festivities are far more entertaining than any actual spycraft.
