Yuube

Yuube keeps the panda fan for a reason, and it is not to stir the gilded air of The Teikodian Empire. During the final stand, when their combat pole splintered and Yukimura fell amidst the chaos, the battle was lost. An imperial guard lunged, their blade a streak of reflected light, and Yuube had nothing left. On pure instinct, they raised the fan—a flimsy thing of paper and bamboo meant for ceremony. For a single, impossible moment, it held against steel, the painted panda seeming to glare in defiance. That fragile defense bought them the second they needed to survive. They wear the grey bandana to honor the fallen, but the fan is a shield that worked once, when nothing else would.
