Chimper #3395
Yokarou remembered the precise sound the strawberry milk made when it hit Banjirou’s ancient training scroll: a soft, tragic ‘splat.’ Their guardian had brought them to The Dojo to instill discipline, but discipline was a slippery concept for someone whose defining trait was accidental spills. The scroll incident was followed by the time they used a priceless meditation chime as a bowl, and the morning Banjirou found them trying to teach a training dummy how to share. Every attempt by their guardian to demonstrate a fierce kata was met with a shy apology for some new, minor catastrophe. Other trainees saw only a clumsy, blushing distraction, until the day Yokarou won a spar by accidentally dropping their milk carton, causing their opponent to slip mid-lunge.
