The blade never leaves their back, its hilt radiating a cold that has nothing to do with the winter snows of The Dojo. They were once an explorer, chasing rumors of power to the world's highest peaks. They found it, sealed inside a glacier. They drew the Frost Katana only once, to survive an ambush on a barren ice field. The resulting surge of power shattered the landscape for miles and left Kiyumi forever changed, ascended but bound to the weapon's chill. They retired that season.
