Chimper #3654
When the cherry blossoms fall in The Great Panda City, the street vendors see a quiet scholar. They watch Ayurou lean on a carved cane, spectacles perched on their nose, analyzing trade manifests with meticulous care. To them, Ayurou is a harmless intellectual, a mind sharpened by books and softened by age. The Panda Council guards stationed at the city gates, however, tell of a different encounter. They saw Ayurou calmly face down a trio of armed mercenaries, not with force, but with a quiet observation about the flawed knot on their leaderโs armor. The mercenaries left without drawing a blade. Neither story is quite right. The cane is not for support, and the glasses are not for reading. They are tools for measuring the worldโand the threats within it.
