Chimper #3688
When the first amber leaf fell in The Heart of the Forest, Oobako met a cartographer whose hands shook whenever they spoke of their home in the mountains. They were haunted by a beast, a shadow that had stolen their family's peace. Oobako, known more for sharing strawberry milk than for any sort of bravery, simply listened. They saw not a monster to be slain, but a reason for the fear in another's eyes. They left one morning without a word, returning weeks later with the Dragonslayer Blade, a weapon they looked entirely too small to carry. They never explained what happened, and the cartographer never asked. The two of them just sit together now, and the great blade is only ever used to cut melons for the village feasts.
