Heirou

The boatwrights at the bottom of Waterfall City claim Heirou's only real job is to test the river's patience, skipping stones across its surface from dawn till dusk. They say it with a fond smile, because they have all seen what those stones can do. They saw one ricochet perfectly to sever a pirate's rope, sending a stolen cargo of fish tumbling back into the water. Another time, a series of precise skips created a ripple that warned a downstream crew of a sudden surge from the falls. Heirou shares the same unspoken oath as the Swamp Sentinel, Giri: protect your waters. But where Giri defends with imposing force, Heirou protects with a disarming grin and an understanding of the currents. The city is safe, and its protector is having the time of their life.
