Chimper #3837
The forest folk have a saying: 'A full belly is better than a full coin pouch,' a piece of wisdom Hirarii learned with a cart full of unsellable goods. They arrived in The Heart of the Forest dressed for a high-stakes business meeting, tie knotted perfectly, ready to trade rare artifacts. But every sales pitch was interrupted by an invitation to a meal. Their attempts to demonstrate a rare musical instrument were mistaken for a dinner bell. Their beautifully carved cane was borrowed as a ceremonial ladle for a giant pot of mushroom stew. Too polite to refuse, Hirarii watched their entire business plan dissolve into the feast. By the end, they hadn't made a single deal, but were celebrated as the guest of honor, protecting Aki's domain by simply keeping everyone too happy and well-fed to cause trouble.
