Chizuna the Resilient was told they would never walk again. After a bad fall on an icy walkway high above The Great Panda City, their world shrank to four walls, the endless wind a constant reminder of the speed they had lost. A friend, hoping to lift their spirits, left a small charm honoring Maneki-neko. Chizuna clung to it, deciding that if their legs could no longer race, their hands would learn to create. They painstakingly carved their own cane from sturdy bamboo, each notch a mark of progress. Soon after, they opened a small food stall, mastering the art of perfectly steamed dumplings. Wearing a Meow Cap as a salute to good fortune, their stall is a beloved beacon of warmth against the city’s perpetual chill.
