Chimper #4117
Mimuna never intended to become the second-best strategist in Waterfall City. That title, to their eternal, simmering frustration, belonged to Sunhi. They met while consulting for the Panda Council, where their intellectual sparring quickly spilled over from war room maps to the Go boards in the main plaza. Mimuna, a scholar of stealthy traditions, once tried to "accidentally" nudge the board with a stray sleeve. Sunhi, without looking up, simply caught the falling stone and placed it in a move that checkmated Mimuna in three turns. The fishers have learned to place small bets on their daily matches. What the spectators don't know is that the loser always buys the winner dango from the best stall. It is, they have both silently agreed, the only acceptable form of surrender.
