Chimper #4246
The bamboo cutters in The Great Panda City whisper that Mirara was born with a map in their mind. They see the fish bait on their head and assume it's a strange totem for finding one's way. The truth is much simpler: Mirara just wants to fish. They were perfectly content by the river, toasting marshmallows, until they accidentally snagged a satchel containing sensitive Panda Council intelligence from the water. Their skill in tracking the currents to find its source was mistaken for a natural talent for exploration. Now, they are tasked with charting dangerous territories. They are good at it, using an angler's patience to outwait danger, but their heart is always back by the cherry blossoms, listening for the splash of a fish, not the footsteps of an enemy.
