Kofuyu

The only chef in The Dragon Wastelands with a one-star review from a ghost is Kofuyu. They opened a small ramen cart amidst the skeletal remains and constant drizzle, hoping to serve something warm in a land of chilling fog. Their sole patron, however, is the specter of Yurei, who materializes daily not to eat, but to complain. The broth, Yurei insists, lacks “existential dread,” and the noodles are “far too corporeal.” Kofuyu, wearing a captain’s hat for morale and a ninja mask to hide their sighs, just keeps adjusting the recipe. Yesterday they tried adding a pinch of “lingering regret,” only for Yurei to declare the dish tasted “a bit too optimistic.”
