Chimper #4301
Does reading seventeen books on topographical navigation help when the ground itself keeps changing its mind? This is the question that haunts Muyuko, whose pristine school uniform seems to mock the scorched earth of The Dragon Wastelands. They were supposed to be Michi's scholarly apprentice on a simple charting mission. But while Michi followed the spirit of the land, Muyuko followed the ink on their scrolls, which led to them tripping over a 'geologically improbable' root and tumbling into a completely undocumented canyon. This, to their horror, was the 'new road' everyone now praises them for discovering. Michi just calls it 'The Muyuko Detour.' They still pore over their notes every night, trying to calculate the precise angle of failure that led to such an unearned success.
