Shusuran

In The Great Panda City, they say every soul is woven from either bamboo or blossom, but the legends claim Shusuran was born of the rain. They arrived during a week-long downpour unheard of on the mountain, and wherever they went, a fine drizzle and a small water spirit followed. Their sibling, Ryuuichi, saw it as a blessing, a sign of a deep connection to the world’s spirits. The Panda Council, however, saw only a threat to the city’s delicate, snowless climate. They gave Shusuran a choice: sever their bond with the sky or leave forever. To protect Ryuuichi and the home they loved, Shusuran chose exile. They became a myth—the Lone Wolf whose intense focus is always fixed on the mountain they can never return to.
