Chimper #4418
The oath Kashiro swore is as unyielding as the falls' foundation, but the slice of cake on their head is decidedly wobbly. For years, they were a joke along the lower docks. While warriors in polished armor patrolled the grand plaza by the fish statue, Kashiro was sent to watch the boats. The cake was a rivalโs insult they decided to wear as a helmet. When raiders swarmed the river, the main guard was too far away, and everyone expected Kashiro to flee. But their vow was the same one Giri held in the marshes: you do not yield. They fought with grim practicality, using fishing nets as traps and their simple sword with brutal efficiency. The city guard still doesn't understand the goggles paired with a marshmallow stick, but the fishers on the docks now save them the best catch of the day.
