Mitsuri possesses the most stoic face in the woods, yet they are a key figure in the most absurd rivalry The Heart of the Forest has ever witnessed. The great feud with Toshitarou was not over honor or land, but over the proper way to hang guiding lanterns. For weeks, they engaged in a passive-aggressive war of illumination, subtly repositioning each other's work to 'improve' the lighting on the main path. The conflict reached its climax when they both tried to adjust the same lantern at once, got tangled in the rope, and ended up swinging upside down from an amber-leaved branch, looking utterly ridiculous. They were declared co-losers. Now, they train together, still bickering, but their combined light is twice as bright.
