Chimper #4461
In The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, the magical resonance of the great monoliths is so sensitive that a misplaced teacup can disrupt a scrying ritual three valleys away. This is a physical law Souichi seems determined to test daily. They didn't earn their fearsome title in battle, but in the Great Scriptorium, after tripping over their own feet and sending a priceless array of scrying crystals tumbling into a shattering mess. This event, now grimly referred to as the โResonance Cascade,โ was not isolated. Other wizards whisper of the time they tried to "help" Bakuhatsu by polishing a focusing lens with their robe's sleeve, accidentally incinerating a century's worth of spell scrolls. The guiding lanterns they carry are less for illumination and more a gentle warning for others to secure their delicate experiments. Souichi just assumes everyone has become exceptionally safety-conscious.
