Sadae

The False Toad of the Wastelands, they called Sadae, and for a long time, Sadae encouraged the mistake. The fear associated with Narisumashi was a useful tool for a rogue taking contracts in The Dragon Wastelands; it ended fights before they even began. That changed the day a contract led them to a hidden enclave of war survivors. They were meant to scatter them for a warlord. Instead, Sadae scattered the warlord’s forces. These days, they still haunt the scorched plateaus, a terrifying rumor whispered on the howling wind. But the fear they project is now a shield for the innocent, a warning that keeps the ghost dragons and raiders from straying too close to the valley they protect.
