Chimper #4533
The three guiding lanterns on Masarou's back were not lit in The Great Panda City, nor do they burn with any worldly flame. Legend says they were once a simple merchant lost in the high-altitude winds, who stumbled upon a fissure in reality where a presence without name offered a choice: perish in the cold, or become a conduit for its light. Masarou returned with eyes that burned with an alien glow, no longer trading in silks but in forbidden truths. Like the notorious Itan-sha, they serve a power outside the established doctrine of the realms. Their quiet stall, illuminated by the otherworldly light, has become a place where desperate chimps come to barter for futures the spirits will not grant and purchase knowledge the Panda Council would see buried forever.
