Chimper #4559
The cultists of The Underworld have a saying: anything that looks sweet is either poison or bait. Hitsui, with their carton of strawberry milk and raspberry pink visor, was assumed to be both. First, they remember the shock of the crimson sky and a cold that had nothing to do with snow, clutching a carved cane that was a half-finished art project from a sunnier world. Later, cornered by a snarling beast near a lava pool, Hitsui saw the end reflected in the heat-shimmer. Then another figure moved, a blur of purpose named Shunkei, who didn't offer comfort, only a sharp command to follow. They still carry the cane and the milk, but now they train. Shunkei taught them that in this realm, even the gentle must learn to be jagged.
