Chimper #4609
Should one ever find a Chimper calmly sketching the crimson glow of a lava pool with a fallen leaf tucked behind their ear, that would be Seruko. Their childhood friend, Kitahiko, insists they only ended up in this ash-choked realm by following a particularly shiny beetle through the wrong gateway. Seruko, however, calls it an 'extended artistic residency.' They treat encounters with the undead like critiques from stuffy art criticsโmildly annoying but ultimately ignorable. Their confidence is unshakable, even when their finest haori is singed by a Soul Chaser's flame. Kitahiko just sighs and sharpens their blade, knowing that tomorrow Seruko will probably try to teach a cultist about the principles of landscape composition.
