Suzeri

Suzeri’s worn blue backpack has seen more of the world than most Chimpers. It holds folded maps, rations, and a polished set of frog-bone dice for when diplomacy fails and a wager is the only way out. They first met Hiro in the sprawling lower markets of Waterfall City, just as the wild warrior was about to fight an entire fishing crew over a misunderstood gesture. Suzeri didn't draw a weapon. They simply brokered a deal, betting Hiro’s next month of spoils on a single dice roll, and won. Since that day, they have been inseparable. Suzeri charts the course and talks their way through trouble; Hiro provides the muscle when words inevitably fail. When they charge into a fray, it is Suzeri who chooses the battlefield and Hiro who breaks the enemy lines.
