Chimper #4814
Shachiyo carves intricate herons into their cane for pleasure, yet they make their living selling maps of skeletal remains for profit. Across the muddy plaza in The Dragon Wastelands, their rival Ganju sold what Shachiyo lacked: practicality. Ganju offered sharpened rocks and patched leather, scoffing at the polished stones and wind-worn scrolls on Shachiyo’s blanket. For years, their competition was the only reliable weather in the scorched plateaus. That changed the day a ghost dragon shimmered into existence amid the fog. While others fled, it was Ganju's barricade of scrap iron that held, and Shachiyo's calm voice reciting the old verse that broke the illusion's power. They have never spoken of it, but their rivalry is different. Ganju now tells clients where to find the best maps, and Shachiyo sometimes admits that a sharp rock has its uses.
