Chimper #4904
The rustle of silk and the sweet, smoky scent of lantern oil always preceded Motosaburou's stories. They were a performer born, painting grand emotions onto their face long before they knew the proper Kabuki forms. Their first and most loyal audience was always Riuri, a childhood friend who would watch, rapt, as Motosaburou spun tales in the high-altitude chill of their home. One year, the biting winds felt particularly sharp, and Motosaburou saw how their dramatic tales could chase the cold from more than just their friend. It was Riuri's idea to take the show beyond their small courtyard. Motosaburou’s lanterns now guide them through the bamboo-lined streets, a moving theater bringing warmth to all who will listen.
