While other merchants appraise gems by weight and clarity, Nanone simply holds a crystal and listens to the earth-song within it. They are a matchmaker, not a seller, pairing the spirit of the stone with the need of the customer. A worried parent might leave with a tiny, unimpressive-looking rock that hums with protective energy, traded for a freshly baked pie. A boastful magician might be turned away from a powerful monolith, offered instead a smooth, calming river stone.
