Benjirou

The wizards of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria will tell you the white bandana Benjirou wears is woven from solidified mist, a gift from the water spirit Namazu. They claim it channels the memories of rain, allowing Benjirou to predict the beautiful sunsets with uncanny accuracy. Others theorize it's a focus crystal in fabric form, storing and amplifying ambient magical energy. Benjirou just smiles and lets them whisper. The truth is much simpler. The bandana was once a finish-line marker from a boat race they entered as a youth, a race they lost spectacularly after getting distracted by a particularly funny-looking frog. It holds no great power, only the memory of a day spent laughing so hard they nearly fell overboard.
