Anrei

The rain in The Dragon Wastelands always smells of hot stone and ozone. Ask any of Bushi's veterans about Anrei, and they’ll tell you about the silence. How they move through the scorched plateaus like a wisp of fog, a blade in the dark. But then they'll lean in and tell you about the time Anrei replaced the camp’s serious war banners with flags depicting cartoon fish. Bushi recruited them personally, a decision that baffled many in the Fellowship of Disorder. Then, during a patrol, Anrei disabled an entire squad of Teikodian scouts using nothing but pebbles and rope, leaving them dangling from a cliff face, unharmed but humiliated. They say Bushi just smiled. A predictable weapon is a broken one.
