Chimper #5115
Yoshiyasu’s azure blue visor was meant to be a simple tool. It charted the coming storms that threatened Waterfall City’s foundations and tracked the lazy flight of dragons from the isles above. But it was never meant to show the future of a single soul. One morning, while scanning for thunderheads, the lens flickered. For a split second, it showed a child from the fishing huts below, laughing one moment and falling into the rapids the next. Yoshiyasu moved without thinking, a blur of grey elder armour, arriving just in time. Since that day, the visions have not stopped. They see dropped nets, collapsing scaffolds, and the glint of an enemy blade before it is even drawn. Their legendary endurance, which once rivaled Bjorn's in battle, is now spent holding back a tide of awful futures, the shock of it all frozen on their face.
