Chimper #5127
Every morning, Itsubi adjusts their specs, ties on their apron, and prepares the communal breakfast. They use a worn katana to slice wild mushrooms, each cut precise and silent. Another artisan in The Heart of the Forest, a weaver named Nori, once asked why they use a weapon for cooking. Itsubi’s face remained a perfect blank. But the next day, Nori found a small, warm pie left on their loom—a flavor combination so perfect it felt like an answer. Nori never asked again. Instead, they began leaving colourful threads by Itsubi’s cooking station. In return, Itsubi leaves Nori intricately carved fruit. No words are ever exchanged, but the entire forest understands the language they have built together.
