Mikitarou

In Waterfall City, every frog knows the value of a deal, and every deal has a price. Mikitarou, however, operates on a different currency: roasted apples and good stories. They arrived with little more than their strange helmet and two sticks, offering campfire treats to anyone who would share a moment. Most chimps and frogs, busy with their bartering on the lower docks, just passed by. But one particularly grumpy frog, tired of the endless haggling for minnows, accepted a perfectly caramelized apple slice. There was no catch. Since that day, the two are inseparable. The frog rides atop Mikitarou’s Displayoooor helmet, offering sharp critiques on their storytelling, while Mikitarou handles the important business of finding the best marshmallows.
